For centuries, the Georgian wine cellar has been not only a place to store wine, but also a cultural center.
Our project in Bulachauri represents the ideal synthesis of traditional cellar design and modern comfort. A space of 60 sq m was created that simultaneously serves as a place for wine aging, receiving guests, and tasting rituals.

Functional zones and design solutions:
Tasting and Dining Area: In the center of the space is a massive wooden table designed for a traditional Georgian meal. This area is ideal for both family gatherings and wine tasting with business partners.
Lounge: A cozy area with soft chairs has been arranged deep in the cellar, where you can have a quiet conversation and relax by the fireplace (or lights).
Bar and Kitchen: Traditional brick walls are effectively combined with a modern bar decorated with black and gold details. This contrast gives the interior an elite look.
Wine Library: Specially treated wooden shelves and wine refrigerators ensure the collection is stored at the right temperature and its effective presentation.

Georgian brick and natural clay – The walls and arches are made of Georgian brick and clay, which preserves the aesthetics of a traditional cellar and creates coziness.
Wooden elements – Furniture and wine cabinets are made of high-quality wood, which adds warmth and a natural touch to the space.
Stone details – Rough, natural stone cladding gives the interior a sense of antiquity, which is associated with traditional Georgian architecture.

The main idea was to preserve the spiritual atmosphere of a Georgian wine cellar, combining it with modern comfort. The interior combines natural materials, sharp textures and carefully selected lighting.
